The book is in both German and English language and comes with an essay by Don Snyder (Ryerson University Toronto), introducing the reader to the project’s general idea. It is published by the foundation STIFTUNG PHOTOGRAPHIE schwarzweiß as Journal # 4. “In Canadian Workspaces” is a limited edition. This is why there will be only a certain number of copies available. All ordered books will be signed upon request, the sales’ revenue goes directly into the funds for the project’s next production.
The price is $ 36.00, shipping included (in Euros: 22,00 €)
Post production after the WorkSpace Canada photography in 2016
As of this month, the major part of the post production is done, films are processed, contact sheets are printed. Now I can actually review the outcome of last year's project work. With respect to making the results available to participants, I must ask for patience. Digitizing the material will take again quite some time. I have to wait until I can use the Image Arts scanning facility in Toronto again. Before that I won't be able to send prints upon request or show the respective pictures online. So far I only have the fraction of 2016 negatives on file that I managed to develop and scan already last summer in Toronto. However, anybody interested about the outcome of any given production year - please feel free to contact me.
I am also introducing a new subpage on this blog, the "gallery". It will offer varying image selections showing project photography of different years and places. The gallery still will be refined but is already good for a first preview - which is introducing a glimpse of the 2014 P.E.I. production. I owe a special "thank you" for the work in P.E.I. to Ruth Skinner and my generous P.E.I. hosts Sarah Saunders and Roy Johnstone.
